We are looking for leading diploma practitioners to support the successful implementation of the first five lines of learning.

Leading diploma practitioners are nationally recognised champions of the new diplomas. They will work with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust for 40 days per year to provide ongoing regional support to practitioners across all sectors in the relevant line of learning as they prepare for and deliver the new qualification.

• Be able to offer evidence of outstanding practice in the line of learning
• Be a key member of an extensive national team supporting practitioners from all sectors
• Provide ongoing support in the relevant line of learning for practitioners in the region
• Be at the forefront of good practice, working, for example, with specialist schools, CoVEs, and Sector Skills Councils as well as with National Skills Academies as they are established
• Establish a regional network in the line of learning, ensuring coherence within the national network
• Ensure that all practitioners across the network have access to developing good practice, through face-to-face and virtual opportunities
• Contribute to training in the line of learning
• Have the support of their organisation for the role

• Based in a school, college or training provider / employer organisation, working full or part time?
• Successfully delivering relevant courses?
• Involved in collaborative 14–19 partnerships?
• Confident about supporting colleagues within networks?

• Information technology
• Society, health and development
• Engineering
• Creative and media
• Construction and the built environment

We are also looking for trainers to deliver diploma support programmes around the country.
