Diplomas are the qualifications that offer all 14-19 year olds the opportunity to follow routes of learning that meet their particular needs. They are being phased in from 2008-2012.

 

They will offer the platform for young people to undertake higher education or to enter the world of work.

The SSAT together with the Quality and Improvement Agency (QIA), have developed a programme to support the implementation of new diplomas.

DCSF online consortia support and events calendar
This calendar contains comprehensive listings of all the support available to consortia and centres offering Diplomas and functional skills that is provided by:
