Learning and Skills Development Agency
The LSDA works to improve the quality of post-16 education and training in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, through research to inform and shape policy, and improvement and support programmes.


Teachernet – ‘A stronger vocational offer for all: The 14-19 strategy focuses very heavily on strengthening vocational routes and on practical skills development. Schools cannot do this on their own though: business and the wider community will also have a role in helping to ensure vocational education appeals across the ability range.’
