The majority of TIPD study visits, run by the SSAT, take place in half-term holidays, to minimise disruption to pupils learning. However, in some exceptional cases, you may be required to take a few days out of school time to accommodate a lengthy journey. If this is the case, you will be notified as soon as possible to see if it is viable. There is no supply cover available under these circumstances.

Most study visits will last six to eight days, depending on the destination, and in most cases this will include weekend travel arrangements.
