The major focus of each visit will be on raising achievement and improving classroom and school performance and there will be a strong underlying theme exploring primary-secondary links running through all visits. Each visit programme will begin from, and remain focused on, classroom experience and observation and discussion with practicing teachers. It will also provide planned opportunity to build perspectives around the key themes chosen by the group as the week progresses, and during the latter half of the week to place these in context through shared discussion with relevant senior managers within
schools and government.
