International Business Partnership Network
A new way to engage in education worldwide

The International Business Partnership Network (IBPN) is one of the key international programmes of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, a leading global education NGO. IBPN links organisations with overseas schools in an exclusive, reciprocal relationship, ensuring that funds are channelled directly to partner schools.
Financial support enables schools to invest in teaching materials, or complete projects such as school renewal, developing broadband infrastructures or populating the school library. In addition, we work with overseas governments to match-fund the monies raised from UK firms’ membership. This means donations can be increased by up to 100%.
Benefits for schools

• A donation of cash for project development within the school
• Our links and influence in many countries provides opportunities for matched local funding
• The development of a reciprocal partnership with an international business
• Support for development through advice, e-mentoring and volunteer visits
• Free membership of the global iNet/SSAT network, providing access to education resources and school to school international partnerships
Benefits for member companies
• A partnership with an individually selected school via SSAT’s experienced profiling or an education department working with us
• Access to a managed CSR programme with dedicated staff promoting members’ socially responsible reputations
• Supported volunteering and e-mentoring opportunities – all beneficial for staff retention
